Here’s one opinion about anime. Do you agree/disagree?

Sorry, Peter, but… really? You choose an image with “fag” in it, and then call for polite discussion. That’s like covering someone in blood and guts, dropping them in shark-infested waters, and expecting the sharks to say, “Alright, I won’t eat him/her this time, since you asked so nicely.”
People are very homophobic, it seems. One response sparked by this picture has a debate about the offensive quality of “fag”. That argument is very alike to the argument of the offensiveness of “shit” or “jackass” or “fuck”. It is to some, isn’t to others. Point is that it is to some, so you should stop for a while if someone brings it to your attention that you’re bugging them with your language.
My Stand? It seems love is only “right” when everyone else thinks it is. Just because you’re in love (be it a straight or gay romance) doesn’t mean it’s alright according to most people. It’s simply a clusterf-ck for all, just because people can’t keep their noses out of other people’s business. Love’s love. Let people like who they like, love who they love, marry who they want to marry, yada-yada. Also, don’t go out of your way to say “gay” or “fag” or any other derogatory things. That’s like being around your mother (in this case we’re assuming she hates cursing) and expecting her not to be PO’d when you say “I don’t want to walk the damn dog!”
On the note of the shows… I think that they’ve become more cutesy, for sure. Then again, you should look at the reason for this before you judge it. The audience is a bit different, now. Maybe people are getting tired of violence and want some things that make them sit and think, “I wish life could be so peaceful.” In another 20 years or so, it’ll probably be all violent and whatnot again. It’s probably a cycle. (Or not. You don’t know when they’ll decide to censor everything even a step away from rainbows and butterflies.)

I know! I do feel lucky!
My first impression is that Divina is going to be fun for everyone right from the get-go, and I don’t believe that the fun will run out too quickly at all. It’s super easy to get the hang of interacting with the world and doing quests is very similar to other games. Also, it’s very cute. Very, very cute.
The Catch
I love the way he looks at me,
the way he holds my hand.
His gentle touch, a warm caress,
mixed perfectly with solid manliness.
That sincere smile that only I know,
for I am the only one that he shows.
The gentleman that he is, has surfaced these days,
arising through the rough, cool front he displays.
He’s calm and collected, but speaks his mind,
and pursues his dreams with all his time.
He’s aware of our cruel, crushing reality,
but won’t let his heart be hardened by such a fallacy.
He puts up with me when I’m wrong,
even if it’s a trial all the day long.
And, after I’m calm, he talks to me,
holds me tight and understandingly.
When life has crushed and deflated me,
he is the one that saves me.
Those times when I need a shoulder to cry on,
are the time that he’s there for me to rely on.
And such is a life that is so full
of joy and love and nothing cruel.
A life of happiness and peace,
which can erase the scars from any grief.
But, there are strings attached to this fairy tale,
or else all in the world would be good and well.
And this small catch, you see, is that in my life…
